The discrepancy between “Ability” and “Performance”

Some children with unilateral Cerebral Palsy use their affected hand less during daily activities than would be within their capacity. Within this project we try to unravel the underlying cognitive information processing accompanying this phenomenon of the discrepancy between “ability” and “performance”. By recording the EEG during uni-manual and bi-manual tasks we try to shed light on these issues and aim for better intervention programs in the future.
